Baruna has officially opened it's new office in Balikpapan this 24th of May 2017. With more than 20 vessels operating in Kalimantan area the company has strategically bought a new office to accommodate clients, vendors and crew for easier accessibility.
During Quarter 4 of Marine Contractor Meeting last February 18, 2016 Baruna bested other offshore companies to brag 3 awards namely :
1. Best Fuel Efficiency 2. Best Navigation Practice 3. Best Machineries and safe practice.

Consistent to upholding quality safety standards, one of our crew members, Captain Lukman of Crewboat Mandar exemplified good decision making by implementing the SWA (Stop Work Authority) of Baruna’s SMM and ISM Code becomes Baruna’s QHSE Policy, and ISM Code last December 5, 2015 while operating a boat at Yakin Oilfield.
Keel laying ceremony has taken place in China on September 4,2015 for Baruna's new built Vessel . Attended by dignitaries of Ship building company and Baruna's management.
Conducted by Chevron, this May of 2015, Baruna Raya has garnered a CHESM (Contractor Health, Environment and Safety Management) Rating A. This is Certificate is a prerequisite for procurement of services with Chevron companies in Indonesia. Time and time again, Baruna has shown its commitment to mantaining high standards in terms of Health, Safety and environmental awareness.
